  Tutorials: Refitting ships and aircraft

Some ships and aircraft are capable of carrying different types of cargo, but must be refitted in order to carry them. This short tutorial shows how this is done with ships, but the process is exactly the same for aircraft.

Step 1

Set up a seaport and build a ship as usual.

Step 2

Go to the 3rd tab on the ship's window. This tab shows the cargo currently on the ship. The refitting icon is on the top-right of the window.

Step 3

Click and hold the refit button and select the type of cargo you wish to refit to. It also includes the amount of cargo the ship will be able to hold. The ship will now collect that type of cargo!
